Our team at gravity9 is just that; highly skilled, driven, passionate, and fun to work with.

We continue our Meet the gravity9’ers series with the introduction of: Oriol Camacho!

What is your role at gravity9 (and what is your expertise)?

I’m a UX Designer based in the UK. My “core” duties are to provide the right user experience to our clients, aligned with business requirements.

As it stands, I have international work experience with B2B & B2C products across a wide range of industries. I also have end-to-end product design experience with complex tools and detailed case studies and an iterative design approach through user-centered design methodologies.

What advice would you give to someone looking to excel in your line of work?

My biggest piece of advice would be: Keep it simple. Be sure to listen to clients and get feedback to improve the iterative design process.

What do you enjoy most about working at gravity9?

I love the wide range of projects available, as well as the nice team to work with of course!

Tell us about your hobbies and interests. What do you do in your spare time?

I love travelling as well as exploring new cultures. In addition, watching sci-fi movies and going trekking.

What would be your dream vacation?

My dream vacation would be in a place surrounded by nature, or a road trip full of memorable experiences.

Who inspires you, and why?

My greatest inspiration in life comes from my father, who taught me a passion for work.

What really grinds your gears (your pet peeve)?

Noise! It can really bother me because it makes it difficult to concentrate.

What’s your favourite Quote?

“Don’t Make Me Think” (It’s actually the title of a book by Steve Krug that focuses on human-computer interaction and web usability).

What’s your favourite book, movie, or TV series (and why do you love it)?

A good movie I recommend is The Big Lebowski, a crime comedy with amazing characters. Other movies from the Coen brothers such as Fargo or No Country for Old Men are also suggested due to their hilarious dark humour.
